This special issue on "Renewable Energy Perspective on Environmental Assessments" in the Applied Chemical Engineering journal aims to highlight the intersection of renewable energy technologies and environmental evaluation methodologies. The issue will showcase the latest developments and research innovations in assessing the environmental impacts of renewable energy systems, focusing on their role in mitigating climate change and promoting sustainability. Topics will include lifecycle assessment (LCA) of renewable energy technologies, carbon footprint analysis, integration of renewable energy in circular economies, and advancements in energy storage solutions. This issue will offer valuable insights into how renewable energy solutions can drive sustainable environmental practices and contribute to global energy transitions by emphasizing these critical areas.
We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviewers, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issues. We will accept from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
