Special Issue Information

The Conference on Pure Sciences: Toward Sustainable Development and a Promising Future will be held at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul, from April 27 to 29, 2026. The conference brings together researchers in chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, and computer science, aiming to highlight the essential role of pure sciences in achieving the goals of sustainable development and in bridging the gap between scientific research and its practical applications that serve society and the environment. It also seeks to provide a scientific platform for exchanging expertise among researchers from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities, and to promote publication in reputable journals indexed in Scopus and Clarivate. The program includes scientific sessions and keynote lectures addressing recent research trends in areas such as clean energy, modern technologies, food security, advanced chemical analysis, artificial intelligence, and mathematical modeling. The outcomes and recommendations of the conference are expected to contribute to advancing research strategies in line with the requirements of sustainable development and the future of education and scientific research in Iraq and the region.

The conference seeks to enhance integration between the disciplines of chemistry, physics, life sciences, mathematics, and computer sciences, through exchanging experiences and modern research, and directing scientific efforts towards achieving sustainable development goals.

It focuses on supporting applied research, developing environmentally friendly technologies, and stimulating scientific creativity among researchers and students, which contributes to building a renewed knowledge economy and a promising scientific future.
